We got you covered! Join China Care as an exec or first year rep and help raise funds and awareness for orphaned children with medical needs.
McGill Students for China Care is a student-run club dedicated to raising funds and awareness for orphaned children in China in need of medical and educational interventions. In the past, we have sponsored surgeries for children with medical conditions such as spina bifida and nurture programs for infants and preschoolers.
How can you make an impact?
McGill Students for China Care consists of a group of dedicated and dynamic executive team members and volunteers. This year, in addition to our amazing returning members, we are also recruiting many fresh faces (YOU!) to help us realise our cause.
Executive Positions Available:
VP Communications – Maintain and update China Care website and Facebook page, create Facebook events and promotional material, record meeting minutes.
VP Finance – Manage China Care’s finances, includes budgeting and completing club audits.
VP External – Liaison between China Care and outside clubs and organisations. Facilitate collaborative events with other groups. Obtain sponsorship deals for China Care and China Care events.
First Year Representatives x2 – Promote China Care events to entering students at McGill. Assist VP Events with event organization.
All Exec – Attend and contribute to executive meetings (approx. biweekly), attend and promote club events, table for samosa and bake sales.

Volunteering for China Care
Want to be involved with the club but don’t have the time to commit to an executive position? No worries, you can always be a China Care volunteer! As a volunteer, you will be updated on China Care’s events. Your responsibilities include tabling for samosa and bake sales – and of course, promoting and attending our events!
